Happy with my new sprocket

So, I needed a new Z-Design Rear Sprocket for my KTM, and a buddy told me about Dirt Tricks. I checked out their site, placed the order, and it was pretty straightforward. The sprocket got here in about a week. Installation was easy enough, and it feels good on the bike. No complaints, it's doing exactly what it should.

Always reliable sprockets

I've bought from Dirt Tricks several times now, and this order for a Honda Ironman Sprocket was just as smooth as the last. Shipping took 4 days to get to me, which was expected. The quality of their chromoly steel sprockets is consistently top-notch. They really hold up to hard riding. That's why I keep coming back for my gearing.

Good deal on a durable sprocket

I was looking for a tough sprocket that wouldn't break the bank, and Dirt Tricks had a bundle deal going on for an Ironman Front Sprocket and a Sprocket Bolt Kit. The price felt fair for chromoly steel, especially with the included hardware. It was worth the purchase and should last me a while.

Solid parts, slow updates

I picked up an Off-Road Gearing Kit for my Yamaha, and the components themselves, especially the Ironman Rear Sprocket, are clearly high quality and USA-made, which I appreciate. The kit fit well, and I'm happy with its performance. However, the order tracking wasn't very detailed, and updates were sparse until it was almost at my door. A bit more communication on shipping status would be helpful, but the product makes up for it.

Good quality, fast shipping

Ordered a Front Brake Rotor. It arrived quickly. Product seems solid. Fit my bike perfectly. No issues at all.

Hey, looking to order a full gearing kit. Anyone know about how long shipping takes to like, Colorado?

D Dan Lindqvist 3 weeks ago
Mine got to me in Denver in about 4-5 days last month, pretty standard.

I think they usually ship out pretty quick since everything's made here. Depends on what you pick for shipping at checkout but I'd guess a week max to CO.

Thinking of grabbing an Ironman rear sprocket for my YZ250F. How long do these things usually last compared to aluminum ones?

M Marcus 1 month ago
Dude, way longer. I swapped to an Ironman a year ago and it's still looking fresh, my old aluminum one was chewed up in like 6 months.

Yeah, they're chromoly steel, not aluminum. Big difference. I heard they even have some kind of wear guarantee, like a year or something? You'd have to check their site but they definitely hold up.

Are these Dirt Tricks sprockets really worth the extra cash over like, a Renthal or Sunstar? Is the 'Made in USA' thing just marketing?

N Nina 3 weeks ago
Totally worth it. My buddy used to shred through Renthals constantly, switched to Dirt Tricks and hasn't looked back. Plus, supporting US manufacturing is a bonus.

I had a Sunstar once and it was fine, but the Ironman sprockets are on another level for durability. Especially if you ride a lot of rocky stuff, they just don't wear out as fast. Not just marketing, they use some tough steel.

Anyone know if they're gonna have a Black Friday sale this year? Need a new front rotor but don't wanna miss a deal.

G Greg Walsh 4 weeks ago
They usually do, yeah. Pretty sure I got my last sprocket during their Black Friday thing a couple years back, like 15% off or something.

They almost always have sales around major holidays, especially Black Friday/Cyber Monday. Doesn't hurt to wait a few weeks if you're not in a rush, you might snag a discount.
